Announcing CMS Made Simple 1.4.1 "Spring Garden"

This is largely a bugfix release to wrap up the 1/2 dozen or so (mostly minor) issues we found with the 1.4 release. Here's a list of what has changed:
Version 1.4.1 "Spring Garden"

- Fixes an issue with the "name" parameter being broken on the stylesheet tag
- Fixes an issue with changing group permissons on windows hosts
- Fixes an issue with group assignment
- Fixes a hard-coded table prefix in the css associations stuff
- Fixes a problem with REQUEST_URI not being set on IIS hosts (stupid windows)
- TinyMCE: Fixed problem with cmslinker not allowing to select parentpages
Fixed a small bug which could cause invalid relative urls to be generated
- A couple more small things...

The release process (though simpler than it used to be)... is still quite complex... there are like 7 or 8
steps.
a) create_cms_release.sh
b) (optional) create_diff_release.sh
c) create_forge_release.sh
d) tweak the announcement in the irc channel
e) tweak the download link in the front page
f) make a blog announcement here
g) make an announcement in the forum
h) update the mailing list
(and that's the optimized list). Soon we'll be moving the mailing list over to use NMS on the main site, and hopefully soon we can use news for the blog, etc. and maybe script some of the other stuff, I don't know. and then it may get simpler
For now, I suggest you just point an RSS aggregator at the announcements forum, or at the blog to stay tuned for updates.

Is there a problem with installing 1.4 and 1.4.1 - I have used both as upgrades and they work fine.
But if I try to install either 1.4.1 the installer gets stuck at stage 1. I have installed 1.3.1 and upgraded to 1.4.1.

I upgraded to 1.4.1 from 1.2.4 and encountered 2 problems that were easily fixed once I worked out the cause:
1) Problem: When I tried to edit the css associations for a template I got an error message.
To fix I added assoc_order column to css_assoc as an int(11) with NULL = Yes and the error message went away.
2) Problem: The CMS 'internal linking' button wasn't appearing in the Tiny MCE editor. To fix I changed the value half way through in Toolbar 2 on the admin page Extentions > TinyMCE > Advanced from cmsmslink to cmslinker.
I did run the upgrade script successfully which took me from schema 29 to 31.

Upgrade from 1.3.1 to 1.4.1 trivially completed. The new admin feature of getting checksums for your web site (Site Admin -> System verification) works a dream and actually gets the checksums for the whole site including other subdirectories unrelated to CMS Made Simple (I have 25,000 files over 4000 folders on around 4 different CMS so quite a lot of places to hide). This is a very cool feature and saves me having to run diffs on my directory tree after I see odd looking traffic in Apache access logs. I use my web site to host experimental stuff for other CMS other than CMS Made Simple and on an hourly basis some idiot is trying SQL injections. It's amazing when you backtrack and look at where they host the exploits they are injecting just how many compromised servers and accounts there are on the 'net.
