After 6 years of working in his father's metal shop doing drafting and machine programming, Ted fell into the world of professional software development. Now 5 years into it, there is no chance that he will ever escape the clutches of programming for a living.

He started CMS Made Simple while looking for something to do after throwing in the towel on the Boss Ogg project. The original idea was to find a CMS for mpd, but after getting frustrated trying to find the perfect one, he decided to jump in a build his own. It's all been downhilll from there...

He lives in the Philadelphia area with his wife, daughter, and beagle.

Tired of all of the complaints from aunt's, uncles, parents and grandparents of "Send me pictures!", and too cheap to go to walmart get copies made and mail them out to the horde, Robert decided "the family can get the pictures off of the web, all I have to do is build a website." A couple of years later after working hard at doing all the pages (rather badly) in pure HTML Robert stumbled upon CMS made simple. Within 15 minutes it was up and operational, and he was busy looking into add this and that cool feature to his site. He soon dug in and began using his 13+ years as a unix/windows C++ geek in the seismic industry to his advantage in a new (to him) programming language, PHP. He's been writing addons for, and contributing little bits here and there to CMSMS ever since. When he's not glued in front of the PC working on one program or module or another, he's spending time with the family and kids (all five of them), and trying to find time for all them fun but costly outdoor sports like 4x4ing, fishing, archery, hunting (and the list goes on).

Robert specializes in programming and unix administration. No network or program is too small, for him. He has extensive experience working in unix (Linux and "Solaris), and in programming in a variety of languages (C, C++, PHP, Perl, Javascript, Shell Scripting).... etc. To Robert, Programming is just programming, it doesn't matter the language, syntax doesn't take long to learn.

Samuel has been involved with programming for over 28 years, starting with Basic and Assembler on a TRS-80. His professional experience began in the Aerospace Industry, and then he rode the dot-com roller coaster for as long as he could. Now, he is a principal at 1969 Communications. Morten Poulsen

Half a musician and half self-taught programmer Morten really never decided which career to focus on, leading to a life of a little of each.Living mainly off more or less freelance work as a pianist and music teacher, he likes to spend whatever time is left on different kind of computer projects, some of which is managed through a small consulting company of his own. Having tried to manage some established CMS's he once decided to write his own Nuke-style CMS with a flexible plugin architecture, but it never made it that far off the ground (some sites do exist still running the system known as LiteNuke, though). Discovering CMSMadeSimple, which presented some of the same philosophies as he had tried, somewhat unsuccessfully, to implement in LiteNuke, he decided to get to know, and try to help in the development of, CMSMS instead. He is both contributing to the core system and developing several addon modules.

While trying to keep he's own, now long buried, CMS together with glue and gum, Tatu stumbled to the CMS Made Simple site and gave it a whirl. 20 mins later and a working site was born. Soon others followed and now CMSMS is the his choice for new sites.

After a few years working on IT field as self-taught sys-admin / webdesigner / programmer / consultant, he decided it would be good to have some papers to prove these skills (and get bigger paychecks). Now Tatu is an undergraduate at Jyväskylä University of Applied Science.

Since the age of 17 Nuno has worked in a wide range of areas, ranging from production lines in factories, sales and even private security. After purchasing his first computer to draft a rapid transport of documents a few years ago, he also required a website with a database for customers to see the status of orders. From that point he never stopped in the area of web design and graphics. Nuno is self taught, has devoured many books and manuals, and developed dozens of sites (both normal and dynamic). He has been trained in the areas of Graphic Design and Multimedia. Nuno discovered CMS Made Simple after an enormous frustration with another cms (which we shall not name), It goes without saying that he will never leave.

René started his own business in 2000 as IT consultant. He have education as physiotherapist and more than 10 years of such working. Circumstances made him start in his family business in 2002 as IT-administrator and with administration in general. After some tough experiences with content updates of static web pages he wanted to just take care of the design and structure of the site himself and let other edit the stuff inside. While looking for a system which would save him time avoiding to update his business static web pages René discovered CMS Made Simple in the spring 2006. After a short while with testing he had to consult the chat room about missing Norwegian translations of strings - and the friendliness that met him made him to contribute himself. He now uses CMSMS for the most of the sites he make. René is now teamleader of TranslationTeam and does Norwegian translations. He also helps with crash-testing before new CMSMS releases.

Noel's IT career started over 25 years ago, as a COBOL programmer for large systems. With the advent of Local Area Networks, he moved over to network administration where he kept busy installing, configuring and managing LANs in a large corporate environment. This environment ultimately evolved into Wide Area Networks (WANs) and Enterprise Networks (ENs) and Noel was there every step of the way, leading the design aspect of the environment. Eventually, Noel got involved in building internal and external corporate websites, utilizing his programming skills once again. A couple of years ago he started a "hobby" business doing web design and hosting, hoping to build a solid clientèle as a "part time" post-retirement source of income. He discovered CMS Made Simple in 2006 and has been using it almost exclusively for web development ever since.

Pierre likes Pineau des Charentes and Free software (since 1995). Once trying to make a little W3C compliant website using the poor man's toolbox (templating via Server Side Includes...) he discovered CMSms and its intuitive, simple, user friendly, database backed, integrated, powerfull templating system with attached style sheets and multiuser management (and more : menus, RSS, modules...). He never looked back. Since then he enjoys the CMSms project : new features, bug fixes, shared tips, open improvements etc.
